Maryville Christian School has found a new assessment tool. The pre-K-12 school located on Morganton Road has started using ACT Aspire. The vertically articulated, standards-based system of summative, interim, and classroom assessments aligned with the Common Core State Standards and linked to ACT College Readiness Benchmarks.
ACT Aspire, which assesses English, math, reading, science, and writing for grades 3–8 and grades 9–10, is administered online with a traditional paper-and-pencil option. Multiple question types are offered: constructed response, selected response, and technology-enhanced.
